pamela anderson & Self love
One of the best comeback stories of the year was Pamela Anderson.
As a french woman, Pamela Anderson was THE archetype of the American woman: blonde, sexy and running on Malibu Beach in a bright red swimsuit.
Pamela Anderson was condemned to how she looked. The equation was very simple, big breasts, big lips, blonde, stupid and ignorant whore, who was only good to be fucked! The release of a private and intimate video between her and her husband brought her the final blow. Tommy Lee was the king of sex, Pamela was again a whore.
After that, slowly but surely, her career became nonexistent and she was categorized as a numbskull. Having her love life in all the trash magazines and writing about how men kept using her.
Until finally, at 56, she reclaimed her life, her beauty, her sexuality and so her power.
For her entire life, she had been abused by men. She witnessed violence between her parents. She was sexually abused at a very young age. Then, her body became the property of America!
I cannot imagine how much she suffered in silence on her own. Because to me, she was only a woman who wanted to be loved and seen for who she was.
She was finally able to re-appropriate herself and stop apologizing for being a beautiful woman. She became finally at peace with herself, understanding that chasing the male gaze was actually a waste of time and only led to more self-destruction.
Her life is an example of what can happen when the father does not take his responsibility and value his own daughter. It’s when the masculine is weak and so the feminine is desperately and endlessly trying to fix it.
« If another violent man loves me and can heal with me, it will mean that I can also heal my father. » The endless quest of a hurt child.
It is never too late to embrace your life, to reclaim your power. No matter what the circumstances of your past has been, you can always rise like a phoenix.
Pamela Anderson is one of those phoenixes.
You can be one too.
Much Love,
